PROGRAM.
1. CYPHER
Artists will be able to rap on instrumentals in a group setting.
Instrumentals can be played off Youtube, Soundcloud or can be created in real time.
Emcees have free reign to choose. Or DJ can select options depending on the vibes.
Multiple microphones are available.
Audio will be played on loudspeakers.
All ambient and acapella audio will also be recorded and available to all artists post session.
Video will be taken and will be available to all artists post session
2. SHOW & TELL
Artists will be able to play their current or past music on loudspeakers.
This can include rough drafts* they are working on at the time.
Lightning and USB-C dongles will be available.
(*Tracks will be assumed to be unmixed and unmastered.)
3. GROUPS
Artists will have the option of using this time to dedicate to personal work they wish to do or to further engage with the other group members or a mix of both. Artists may bring their headphones and laptops / note pads. Artists will also have the option of recording reference tracks on site and the audio will be available post session.
This is also an opportunity for artists to share ideas and conversation on any topic of choice.
4. PERFORMANCE
Artists will have the centre stage mic for 10 full minutes to perform anything they wish with accompanying music or acapella.
Other artists are asked to give the performer their full attention as a courtesy.
Artist may also tag another artist present if they wish to perform as a duo.
This will not affect the stage time of the other individual
Two cameras will be recording all performance footage and photos will be taken.
These will be available to the artist post session.
